E.J.A Communication Therapy

As a neuro-diversity affirming speech-language pathologist, my passion lies in working with young children, birth-five, and with children, adolescents and young adults with complex communication needs who require augmentaitve and alternative forms of communication.  I believe in providing therapy in natural settings, with a strong emphasis on parent coaching.  I believe in a child-led approach to therapy, incorporating  individuals's interests and taking a child's lead within therapy sessions to help develop a genuine joy for communicating and interacting with others .  I think it is crucial to not only work directly with children, but with all individuals involved in a child's life to support communication.

I work in person in San Diego, CA.  Please contact me to discuss scheduling in person sessions.  I also provide teletherapy in MA, CA and WA.  I am a provider for the Early Start Program with the San Diego Regional Center.  If I don't currently provide teletherapy in your state, I am continuously adding to the states I am licensed in, so please reach out!  I am available for therapy, assessments, consultation, literacy sessions and device programming.

In CA, I accept private pay as well as HealthNet, TriCare and Blue Shield of CA insurance.   I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
